Whether or not you’re religious, Easter has some pretty magical traditions that we love. This year, we heard the Easter Bunny was looking to shake things up by shopping local in his favourite west end neighbourhoods.  That’s right, the Easter Bunny loves the west as much as we do. So, how can you help the Easter Bunny create the ultimate Easter celebration this year?  With spring weather around the corner, it’s the perfect time to stroll around the neighbourhood and visit some of The Easter Bunny’s go-to West Toronto shops.

Shops with Easter treats:

Lemon and Lavender

In Bloor West Village, the Easter Bunny loves to pop into Lemon and Lavender.  Every square inch of this shop is packed with perfect little gifts the kids will be delighted to find on Easter morning.  With an incredible selection of Jellycat stuffies, puzzles for all ages, a slew of sensory toys such as kinetic sand, fidget spinners and Nee-Doh to the latest and greatest fan favourite, Squishmallows! If the Easter Bunny is planning on leaving heirloom gifts, Lemon and Lavender has a wonderful collection of Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit pieces.  If you are looking to decorate for the occasion, this shop also has so many beautiful, Easter-themed decorations to help make your home an Easter wonderland this year.

Lemon and Lavender is located at 2314 Bloor St West.

Scooter Girl

On Roncy, the Easter Bunny never misses an opportunity to check out Scooter Girl.  This shop is a Roncy institution, being the go-to toy store for every occasion since 2002. With gifts for kids of all ages, the Easter Bunny likes to pick up toys for the tweens on his list.  Scooter Girl has so many cool gifts your tweens will love.  Check out their hair chalk kits for mom-approved coloured highlights, bath bomb making sets they can use to  make mom a nice mother’s day gift, hint hint. Soap making kits, horseshoe game sets, magnetic darts, the list goes on.  If you’ve got tweens in your home, this is the place to go for gifts they’ll actually love and put to good use.

Early Bird & Worm

While on Roncy, the Easter Bunny always makes sure to hop on down to Early Bird and Worm. Though this beautifully curated space stocks  toys, gifts and clothing for all ages, including adults, the Easter Bunny is going for the balloons.  Early Bird and Worm has a beautiful selection of unique and whimsical balloons you’ll want to keep around long after the holiday is over.  From beautiful foil number or letter balloons, to balloons in the shape of their favourite Paw Patrol or Sesame Street character.  When the Easter Bunny is planning an Easter balloon surprise, this is his spot.

Early Bird and Worm is located at 149 Roncesvalles Ave.
